The program consists of three modules

VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria Police Department announced that Sgt. Graduation of William Bernard from the LEMIT LCC program on Friday.

The Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT), specifically the Leadership Command College (LCC), is one of the nation’s premier law enforcement management programs.

The LCC sets the standard for excellence in police leadership. It consists of three modules, each lasting three weeks. One module takes place at Texas A&M University, another at Texas Women’s University and the final module at Sam Houston State University.

The following people attended Sgt. Bernard’s diploma:

  • Deputy Chief Chuck Young,
  • Captain Kevin Sanderson,
  • Lieutenant James Poe,
  • Senior Officer Emily Erickson
  • and the sergeant. Bernard’s family, including his wife, Kristi Bernard and daughters Brynn and Blair.
