WINNIPEG, Canada – Brodsky Amy & Gould, one of Winnipeg’s leading criminal law firms, announces that its team is expanding. They recently added three new members: an associate lawyer and two articling students.
Erika Brenner, who joins the firm as an associate lawyer, holds a BA and a JD (Juris Doctor). As she gains experience, Brenner will advise clients, conduct legal research and argue cases in court.
The two interns, Sebastian Burachynsky and Ashley Anderson, will assist other lawyers and clients of the firm. Interns take on responsibilities such as legal research, writing letters, preparing legal documents and issuing opinions. Interns are also called paralegals. They have legal training but are not yet lawyers. Paralegals use their knowledge of the criminal justice system to help with cases.
As the business continues to grow, the addition of a new associate and two interns will be invaluable. Brodsky Amy & Gould is dedicated to providing our clients with expert legal representation and communication. With a larger team, the firm can provide better service to its clients.
“Erika Brenner joined us as an associate and we also welcomed two new interns,” said Ryan Amy. “At our firm, we are committed to providing our clients with excellent legal representation. Interns can help our lawyers by taking care of day-to-day tasks. This frees up time for our defense attorneys to work more effectively on the more complex aspects of a case. By expanding our practice, we can better meet the needs of our clients.
